Aloha everyone!
My name is Jasmine, and I'm a musician. I started playing the violin when I was two and a half years old, taking lessons from the Suzuki method. At age five I began singing, inspired by young Cosette's song “Castle On A Cloud” from the musical Les Miserables. I love stage productions, and I love musicals, and I love Broadway! I also tap dance. Right now I am recording two albums full of my own original songs. I just released a single as a prelude. (It’ll be a collectors item one day because there are only a limited number of them available. *wink*) It's by itself, and it is available online. My first album focuses on love songs, and the second one is much more political and/or spiritual, dealing with the state of the planet and changing consciousness.

“All of my songs are different, each inspired by a unique emotion. Each has a different kind of flavor or style, and each one is like a baby to me, a creation. Sometimes I get the urge to write the words to a song and it just has to come out. I love to let the music flow. To me, it doesn't matter what kind of style a piece of music is. If it touches me, and I can relate to it, it's unique and beautiful. All kinds of music add a whole variety of flavors to my world that I devour eagerly with my soul. Most of my inspiration for my songs comes from people (quite a few of them, I admit, guys) and I appreciate every single one of those people who inspire me, and all of the forces of nature that do as well. I remember reading a book once about the native Aborigines of Australia who had names that they would change to represent them as they would change and evolve as individuals that served the community. I came up with the name Music Giver for me, because I enjoy contributing music to others. I love to give music. That's all I really want to do.”

I aspire to play my music on tour and continue performing my own original songs as a recording artist. Although violin is my main instrument, I am also learning and continuously arranging my songs on guitar and piano. Music is an ongoing discovery and it never ceases to surprise. A true gift from the universe, and always in the moment. :-)
